Late Paulinho and Wallisson goals give Tai Po narrow win over Rangers

Tai Po scored twice late on to beat BC Rangers 3–2, with Wallisson Bahia completing a double before the visitors pulled a goal back in added time.

Wallisson had put Tai Po ahead after 13 minutes at Tai Po Sports Ground. Nathan Lourenço equalised a minute before half-time, leaving the match level heading into the second period.

The score remained 1–1 until Paulinho Simionato, introduced on the hour, restored Tai Po’s lead in the 82nd minute. Wallisson added his second with a minute of normal time remaining to give the hosts a two-goal cushion.

Abdolreza Zarei reduced the deficit in the fourth minute of stoppage time, but Rangers could not find another equaliser.

Paulinho’s contribution followed his two goals off the bench against Eastern, giving Tai Po another important return from a substitute. The hosts secured a second consecutive league win, while Rangers suffered a third successive defeat despite scoring in each of those matches.
