Granada hat-trick powers unbeaten North District to another five-goal win
Photo: HKFA Samuel Granada scored a hat-trick as Golik North District beat BC Rangers 5–0 to extend their unbeaten, unbreached start to the league season.
North had also scored five without reply against Supreme Shatin in their previous league match. Their opening four games had now produced three wins, one draw and no goals conceded, with 12 scored at the other end.
Jahangir Khan opened the scoring in the 18th minute at North District Sports Ground. Granada added a second shortly before half-time and scored again in the 66th minute to give North a three-goal lead.
Rangers were reduced to ten men when Yakubu Nassam Ibrahim was sent off after 80 minutes. Substitute Lo Kong Wai made it 4–0 three minutes later before Granada completed his hat-trick in stoppage time.
Rangers remained without a point after four defeats and failed to score for the first time in that run.
